A l'instar des montres de plongée et autres toolwatches classiques, les chronographes de régate constituent un fascinant sous-ensemble de montres qui ont transcendé l'usage pour lequel ils étaient conçus pour se frayer un chemin aux poignets de collectionneurs qui apprécient leur construction colorée et le coté exotique de cette complication.

Entre les années 60 et 80, la plupart des grandes marques horlogères ont proposé un chronographes de régate. La montre que vous avez sous les yeux est la plus rare produite par Breitling, et tire son origine de la ligne Co-Pilot sortie en 1953, avec la référence 765.

Cette référence 7650 date de 1969, année charnière qui marque la transition avec la référence 7660. Elle est en configuration Mk3, reconnaissable en un clin d'oeil avec son aiguille des secondes orange et la forme rectangulaire des aiguilles de sous-compteurs, et représente la variation la plus rare et recherchée.

Cette pièce est dans un état irréprochable et jamais vu sur le marché, avec une lunette intacte, un cadran exempt de défauts et un boîtier impeccable. Between the 1960s and 1980s, most major watch brands offered a regatta chronometer. The watch you are viewing is the rarest produced by Breitling, and originates from the Co-Pilot line released in 1953, with the reference 765.

This reference 7650 dates from 1969, a pivotal year marking the transition from the reference 7660. It is in the Mk3 configuration, instantly recognizable by its orange seconds hand and the rectangular shape of the sub-dial hands, and represents the rarest and most sought-after variation.
