La série de montres vintage Heuer Skipper a connu un immense succès ces dernières années.
Cet intérêt s'explique par plusieurs facteurs dont la beauté et l'attrait visuel d'un compteur tricolore pour le décompte des minutes avant une course de bateaux, l'attrait de ces montres pour le style de vie et l'intérêt croissant pour ces montres, notamment leur rareté!
Notre exemplaire est le deuxième modèle Skipper fabriqué par Heuer : la référence 7764. Il s'agissait d'une adaptation de la Heuer Autavia référence 7763, qui ajoutait un grand compteur rouge-blanc-bleu au cadran et modifiait la configuration du chronographe pour un saut toutes les 30 secondes au lieu de toutes les minutes, afin de compter à rebours de 15 minutes pour une course de voiliers.
Le mouvement Valjoux 7730 aurait autrement été doté d'un compteur de 30 minutes.

Cette montre est un bel exemple de la référence Heuer Skipper 7764 avec une belle patine, parfaite pour une sortie en mer.



The vintage Heuer Skipper watch series has enjoyed immense success in recent years.
This interest can be attributed to several factors, including the beauty and visual appeal of a tricolor subdial for counting down the minutes to a yacht race, the lifestyle appeal of these watches, and the growing interest in them, particularly their rarity!
Our example is the second Skipper model produced by Heuer: the reference 7764. It was an adaptation of the Heuer Autavia reference 7763, which added a large red-white-and-blue subdial to the dial and modified the chronograph configuration to jump every 30 seconds instead of every minute, in order to count down 15 minutes for a yacht race.
The Valjoux 7730 movement would otherwise have been equipped with a 30-minute subdial.

This watch is a beautiful example of the Heuer Skipper reference 7764 with a beautiful patina, perfect for a trip to sea.
