Leaving Cherbourg on Sunday, Oren Nataf is the first Drheam Cup competitor to have crossed the finish line off La Trinité-sur-Mer on Tuesday. The skipper sailed from the English Channel to Morbihan in just two days, two hours and 47 minutes aboard his Multi 2000 Rayon vert.
Less than three days to link the Channel to Morbihan. The skipper Oren Nataf, alongside his teammate Sidney Gavignet, is the first Drheam Cup competitor in all categories to have crossed the finish line in front of La Trinité-sur-Mer on July 19 shortly after 5 p.m. His Green Ray docked after two days, two hours and 47 minutes of racing.
Oren Nataf therefore won the victory in his category, Multi 2000, but also won the scratch ahead of the 111 other skippers still in the race. Other boats followed later, on the night of July 19 to 20, including the crew of Kuka 3, first in real time in the IRC category. L'Ultime by Tom Laperche arrived shortly before 1:30 am.
