GMT Master "No Crown Guards " Nipple Dial Ref. 1675

€0 EUR

The 1675 left the Rolex workshops in 1959 with the aim of replacing the old GMT model, reference 6542. Among the many changes made to the watch, the most obvious apart from mechanical developments remains the appearance of imposing protective crowns on either side of it.

Only a few extremely rare examples in yellow gold were produced after this date without however featuring these famous crown guards: They will be nicknamed NCG for "No Crown Guards". This variation is one of the rarest ever produced, of which here is a copy.

This ref. 1675 "No Crown Guards" from 1963 is in excellent condition, as is its "Nipple" dial with its exceptional patina.
