Nautilus Ref. 5726A

€0 EUR

At the time, the Nautilus was a watch with a particular shape, which immediately caught the eye.

The Nautilus has embodied, since 1976 by the famous Gerald Genta, a renowned watch designer who created a series of legendary pieces such as the Omega Constellation (1959); Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse (1968); IWC Engineer (1976); Pasha de Cartier (1985)

For the design of this watch, Genta innovates with an unusual shape inspired by a boat porthole. It features a rounded octagonal bezel and “ears” on the case, with a hinge on one side and a clasp on the other. Moreover, the name of this watch is directly inspired by the world of the sea. It is that of Captain Nemo's submarine in Jules Verne's novel "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea"
