At the beginning of the 19th century, like La Chaux-de-Fonds and Granges, the small towns of northwestern Switzerland became the hubs of Swiss watchmaking. At that time, the Racine family, based in Granges, had made a name for themselves in the industry.

Ariste Racine, the founder, reversed the letters of his surname to create the “Enicar” brand. From then on, he devoted himself to the production of luxury watches, among which were his innovative and highly readable pocket watches which found favor with European soldiers and railroad workers during the First World War.

This Ocean Pear is really rare chrono is in fashion! Indeed, all watches from the 1970s' linked to yachting have become very popular. With its legendary design and insane colours, it's one of the most interesting chronos from this period.
